Default New to EQ Emu/Can't login because brother is on in same house?

It seems I cannot login because my brother is playing in the same house as me.

Is there a way that we can both play at the same time?

First timer here, app any help.
Thanks.

Are you having trouble with all servers or a particular one? If it's a particular one you should ask about this on the forums for that particular server.

What lerxst said. As far as I know, there isn't a significant IP limit on the login server, but each individual server has their own rules. For instance, P1999 has a 1 IP per account rule unless you go through their petition systems. They do this to prevent multi-boxing. PEQ, on the other hand, allows multi-boxing so has more relaxed IP limits.

Default 1999

Where is the petition for the 1999? My boyfriend and I just started and want to petition to play together.
