Default Has anyone gotten a CVS6.2

Has anyone managed to get a working version of cvs 6.2 yet? Is the install very difficult or is it the same as 6.1 the tutorial someone made for one looked fairly easy.

Just checking so I know if this is going to be a waste of my time to play around with or if someone has managed to get it working.

You might start to see some 0.6.2DR servers in about a week or two. I would say... If your EQ already works with 6.1 don't patch...

Sony may drop us a patch that may break it again...
The last few verson of EQEmu that came out, was broken by sony within a week.

If you really want to play I would, try to compile the 0.6.2DR and run your own server.
Only problem with that is there is not support for DR verson... you also might get alot of errors.

anyway G'luck

Cool thanks

You recieve two kudos for your assistance!!!

Yeah I haven't reinstalled eq I have it I am looking at it but I haven't decided what to do with it yet. So here is another question and forgive me for asking if its against the rules, but...

Are there any versions of EQEMU that work without patches? Like just fresh installs of the first 3 cd's being velious kunark and classic.

I don't still hold an eq account I played for way to long, but I do enjoy getting back into some of the games after a while when I can do it on my own time.

Off Topic:
I was reading about the EQVER CHECK program and it shows you all that odd crap. Is there any guide that shows what versions work with what versions of EQEMU servers? I just don't understand what that has to do with it all other than knowing I have 92837498237498723948 or some random string like that.
Finally off topic but I enjoy long walks in the Karanas when Giants arent roaming and plenty of sunsets in EC but how difficult is it to script vendors... I have seen some people have created vendors for their servers that sell items that are somewhat harder to get or are drops, which would be really cool. Scripting is done in RUBY right?

Hit the suggest LS button to suggest a loginserver. If it cant find one, you most likely have a client thats not compatible with a recent version of EQEMu. Feel free to paste your SEQ number though, and we might be able to tell you more..

C++ is wonderful.
