How do you change paswords?

I've tried changing passwords for the log in, for eqmu ive went to the log in pass and changed it while not logged into eq and waited but it doesnt take effect it just keeps the old password, how do i change passwords for the log in to eqmu?

you change the password in the profile ....
and its EQEMu or

Not eqmu
