Default 64 bit windows complie and create/tutorial

Seems the fix Sorvani had done for the 64 bit windows complie and creating a new character and going to tutorial is messed up again. if uncheck tutorial button you can create a toon and log in to starting city. But with tutorial button checked on, you crash after trying to log in.

Strange, I compiled x64 last night and was able to create a new character and log in on my test server.
Can you log in existing characters just fine and its only when you create new characters that they crash?

yes it only did it to a newly created toon with tutorial. existing characters fine and new toon to starting city was fine.

stumped.. brand new installed database, and recompiled fresh from svn. cannot create a toon and zone into tutorial. I remember sorvani had this 64 bit issue working and looking into the files, seems the optimation turned off is still there for that part of it. Anyone else finding this issue ?

This may not be the issue but, have you checked the database to see if it's going to the correct zone? I mean, it may be disconnecting you because it's going to a nonexistent zone, have you checked the logs or anything?

EDIT: It may be an error in your world/zone server, is there a set number of dynamic zones? I know some players on a server I used to develop for had problems going to some zones at one point because only 5 zones could be open at a time, just taking a stab in the dark. Can you post the crash logs possibly?

With which version of the source? The change in 2306 looks like it might fix it.

hope you figure it out. i did try with both optimization off and on and neither worked for me. no clue what things were changed recently or when exactly it stopped working correctly on 64 bit. Just had some time off work and decided to update my server and try to play with it.
