Fredsbox - 51/50 Online

I just verified that my new server is online and operational. My intent with this server is to recreate the 51/50 server on EQLive. I intend to expand on the server features as the demand arises. For right now, here is a brief synopsis of the available features:

- Start at level 51 with 50 AA points
- Leg-up armor kit for all slots
- Legit Server, only #bot works
- Regular XP as found on live servers
- Raid encounters tuned for a minimum group of 6 players
- Max Level 65
- Max Expansion is LDoN
- No account limits
- Automatic guild membership in <fredsbox> guild
- OOC is local zone only
- forums @ http://www.fredsbox.com/

I encourage you to test it out and see if I left any loopholes open. I'm also not much of an artist so I kind of blatently ripped the forums layout from eqemulator.org with due credits of course.

Thank you! I still have a lot of bugs to iron out, but it is coming along nicely. The bots are not quite intelligent yet, but it's getting there heh.

Got a problem, Made my rogue pvp now when i zone into anywhere but Pok My bots attack each other but not me?

Fredsbox is now back online after a month or so of being offline due to RL issues. I look forward to doing some more custom bot programming. Check it out if you haven't yet.

any chance of opening up sof/sod zones please >?
would jiump to server so fast , if these zones was open ?

aye i would also join, lol i been playing i got a 52 sk there but exp is to slow and the gear isnt that good enough for the zones at that level you should put the real 51/50 gear the Intricate set

71 bots makes things a bit too easy. Wish there was a server where you just have 1 group of bots mobs arent tuned at all. Takes 5-7 people to do bosses and stuff with each having their own group

If you want to handle developing the content for sof/sod like mobs, quests, etc. I'll be more than happy to open it up on the server!

The server is currently at the PoP expansion level. The Intricate stuff on live servers is as good as, or better than, plane of time gear which would make it totally pointless to do progression.

Try making more than one bot group and you'll find the xp is really fast.

Not sure I'm following you here, are you saying 71 bots makes it too easy and that you need 5-7 people to do the bosses at the same time? Isn't that a contradiction?

i have no experience of Deving , bot the mbos shoudl be up , and I can try learning it to help with the SoF/SoD side?

That would be awesome! Just download and setup a server on your local PC and start plugging away with it. There are also tools you can download that should ease the process with the MySQL entries.

ive tried setting up a server idk why but i failed, i must have done something wrong i can try again tho and go from there
