Default 64 bit compatibility

hey guys,

I think I have patched up the code to build better on 64 bit machines (athlon). as a side effect of this, I also made it build under GCC 4.0.

I have only tested it on GCC 4.0 on an athlon64. I have not actually run it...
please test it and post results.

I'm trying to compil on athlon 64bit 3500 2 giga ram with gcc 3.3 (i don't know if i'm right on gcc version)
And i have this error in zone compilation :

no rules for make "/user/include/mysql/mysql_time.h" need for "zone.o", stop

thats due to copying the code from one machine to another... run make depend or remove .depend and try again

Ok that compil fine now.
For me all seem to be ok, i test quickly and don't find any bug.
You want i test something in particular ?

if you can zone in and fight something, maybe cast a spell or something, then im satisfied.

I testing :

Zoning (better, i gain 3 seconds on)
Fight (i can kill mob) and loot (i can take and trade object)
Spelling (detrimental or not, all working)

The last good reason I needed to upgrade to AMD64. The new toys should be here by weeks end. Thanks a lot, FNW.

nice stuff on 64bit code, i upgraded my machine to 64 bit system a couple of weeks ago too. Is there a place where i can download the code?
