Default Wondering on an ETA

Just wondering on an ETA for the fix if there is one at all in the works.

Don't get mad or bitchy. It was just a simple question is all.
If not.. then I will check back at a later date.

Thank you.

There is no work being done to put the server to the current client version. And it will be a minimum of next spring before they even think about doing so.

I liked it back when they just gave an ETA of 2011 or something like that; those were the good old days.

Sticking to one version is the best thing the devs ever did. I see their choice...on the one hand, let a ton more newbs have a "chance" of getting onto the server or setting up a server, and struggling just to get the things that worked in the previous version to work with the newest live version. OR...have one sweet, purring like a kitten, emu out there getting the fixes everyone wanted and needed for a damn long time.

I can see how their choice was hard.

Thank you guys for making the right choice and all your damn hard work. I have put in a ton of collects, but if you need anything else let me know, I have 2 accounts active atm on live.

But IIRC correctly, once we catch up on the database and fix a lot of bugs in EQEMU we will start chasing live again, it's just SOE is releasing patches and expansions faster than we can keep up, and than everyone that has a live account has to buy the expansions just to collect logs/packets to build the database, it's a real pain in the butt.

I have an everquest client from a long time ago but I'm not quite sure what version it is or if it would work with any of the servers out there, is there any way to find out what version it is?
