Default Another user that can't connect... :(

I've been searching like a madman on these forums for a solution that I haven't found. My problem is quite common. I can't get past the login/password, invalid username/pass...

Have tried many of the things here listed, :5998 won't work, 5995 and 5994 get stuck in "Logging..."

Any news on this? I'll give any information that you need...

Thanks in advance. Hope there is still some chance for me to join you guys :(

5998 is the correct port for the host file.

If you are getting an invalid message, it is either that you didn't register your login server account within your forums account. Or, it could be that your password is too long. I think anything over 6 or 8 characters gets truncated so it will fail when you try to log in. Try setting a password for the login server that is only 6 chars.

Make sure there is no white space in your eqhost.txt file at all. Open it using notepad, so it doesn't add any hidden format marks and put the cursor at the end of both lines. If the cursor lands a space or so over from the last character, backspace it out and then save the file.
