GeorgeS, I have to second this. Your NPC editing tool is my most used piece od software for my server. I made the leap and recompiled with the new Lua additions and can no longer use this great tool. Please, when you get the time, put in a patch for the new special abilities that Lua uses.

Thanks.

Aye, please George. Get your editor fixed up to the newest build. The special attacks reverted to special abilities is very inconvenient. Currently using an SQL to copy NPCs. It's ridiculous.

Give the PeqEditor a try or akkadius's.
Or you could just create npc / edit npc and leave that field blank and then just run a query later to assign abilities you want npc to have.
Not sure on that last part as I don't use G-Tools

Okay, to create your own C# Program to do what you want to do you will have to follow these instructions:

1. Have some basic C# knowledge, Intellisense is REALLY helpful, so you don't need to be a professional.
2. Have Visual Studio 2008, Visual Studio 2010, or Visual Studio 2012.
3. You will need this: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mirror.php?id=414335
4. You will need to open that and look for 'Applications' and install 'MySQL for Visual Studio'.
5. Next time you open Visual Studio, create a new Project.
6. Go to 'Data' on the menu at the top, click 'Add New Data Source'.
7. 'Database' -> 'Dataset' -> Click 'New Connection...'
8. You should now see MySQL Database as a choice.
9. Choose it.
10. Put in your Server Name, which should be localhost, your Database Username, and Database Password.
11. Then choose the database.
12. Click 'Data' again, 'Show Data Sources'.
13. 'Add New Data Source...'
14. 'Database' -> 'Dataset'
15. Choose 'Yes, include sensitive data in my connection string.'
16. 'Next >'
17. 'Next >'
18. Choose your table(s), click 'Finish'.
19. You're ready!
20. Enjoy!

Should see this under 'Data Sources' on the left side, if you chose 'npc_types': http://prntscr.com/1ll3j2

Thank you very much, GeorgeS. I really appreciate all the hard work you have put into your tools and I know there are many others that do also.

Could not agree more. This is my favored editor. Allows me to see things grouped in a much easier form for zones.
