The IRC server has been down for a few days like Kingmort said any idea when it will be back up?

try connecting to eqemulator.net rather then irc.eqemulator.net

For the time being, use: eqnet.eqemulator.net
as your server name. (eqemulator.net or www.eqemulator.net might work too)

The server that had been run by Rogean is currently down. For reasons unknown to me, the alias irc.eqemulator.net only points to Rogean's server instead of round-robin between his and eqnet, so you won't get anywhere with that.

It's unknown to me why RogNet is down or whether it will be back up soon. In the meantime I will post a temporary announcement so everyone knows what to do.

Does anyone else use a web based irc on there site after this change i cannot get it to connect anymore?

I'm waiting on Doodman to take ~2 minutes to update some DNS but hes been putting it off.
