Default EQEmu on XP 64bit

Has any successfully played EQEmu on Xp 64bit? Im having a world of problems, i have SoF installed, i can get to character creation and everything, but once i goto enter the world (Not the tutorial) it automatically disconnects me. Now my brother did the same exact thing but has a Win 7 64 bit OS, and it works perfectly... Any ideas?

Xp x64 has very little support for 32 bit applications. That version of the OS was intended more for manufacturing enviroments than home use which is why so many applications will not run on it. Xp x64 is more closely related to Server 2003 than XP x86 despite the graphical similarities. Good luck getting it to work right.

If you have a multi-core CPU, you probably want to try some of the dual core fixes in the FAQ in my sig. Also, you may be having a resolution issue, so you might look into that with possible changes to your eqclient.ini or with windows desktop.
