Default tutorialb spawn information

Ok I have what I belive to be a pretty complete setup for The Mines of Glooming Deep (tutorialb). However the zone is not exactly like live, here is a list of changes.

-- Note : this sql file will also change all starting zones to The Mines of Glooming Deep (tutorialb). If you dont want this than remove that section of the sql file.

1) Added GM's for all classes
2) Mob names may differ slightly (this should be fixed with update 1.1)
3) Mob levels may differ slightly (however the zone is still meant for lvls 1 - 10)
4) Mob drops are not the same (I added in basic drops nothing fancy - except the demon does have his proper drops)
5) Mob/NPC may have different textures (however I tried to keep it close)

I spawned this from memory so that is why there are differences. I am still working on quests for this zone however the few that I have are included in the zip file. I will update the zip file when the rest of the quests are finished.

Full (use this if you are sourcing in for the first time) - http://www.savefile.com/files.php?fid=6337216
Update (use this if you have already sourced in a prior version)- http://www.savefile.com/files.php?fid=5140773

Current Version 1.1

- Things to work on yet
  • Pathing (on live most mobs in the tutorial are stationairy however there are a few that roam)
  • Quests
  • Spell Merchants
  • Various other small things

hey guys,

sine you seem to be interested in this zone.... I thought I would help you out and get a test in at the same time...

here is some output from the not done eqbuilder, let me know what you think/how it works... im concerned about some of the pathing, and my single collect of the zone seems to have missed a lot of pathing... anyways....

Ah man, it's comments like that that brings all the ball busters out of the wood work. I'll be good... this time.

I take it these logs were compiled against a version of PEQ? My db has all of these spawn IDs used up and I'm too lazy to bump them all. Making me source PEQ man, you're evil.

Released a small update on tutorial names , and to make all noob monsters use new models.

Also I use cavedudes db so the spawn id's are no problem (I use id's 189028 - 18919

Haha got me. I tried sourcing into my working database which is a mess. It sourced right into the release one.

WOW! I just changed a few bats to new models and the whole zone changed to the new bat model! Same with rats! So I guess all one has to do is change one and others will follow.
