Exclamation everquest titanium system requirements

hi i wonder what is the REAL "everquest titanium system requirements"?

i ahve tryd to find it online im buildiong a win98 pc and i whould like to play EQ on it aswell i mean i can^^

its a pentium 3 800MHz
512 RAM
80GB HDD
on board GPU 32MB

im thinking of buying a new brapic card but first i feel i most know how much i need, from that era is should be ok with like 64-128 MB V-RAM

i find some stuff online and they say i should get like a Geforce 1 or ATI readon 8000.

but if i look on other sites like "Can i run it" or steam or even everquest offical site they say i need like 2 GB ram inte core i5 and so on, i know it dont need those.

thanks alot. and i think there should be a way to know the offical stuff you need not the weird stuff that steam and other site say. i read that you are good to go with liek a pentium 3 600 MHz for recommaned,

thanks for the help^^

Look for a file called 'drivers.txt' in your titanium client directory.

EDIT: Not sure on the cpu minimum... I've seen P4..but, can't remember which client that was.

I still have old PC around which I used to play EQ back in 2004.
P3-1000, 512 RAM, 64Ram Video, Win XP
Ttatinium runs OK, but going to a raid with 40+ people will be a problem.
Its mostly CPU that is not sufficient.

Lol, I remember playing EQ on a 366 MHz e-machine as well as an AMD K6-2 + Voodoo 2.

Anything made in the last decade can run EQ fairly well lol.

PC tech has been evolving so quickly. When they were first developing EQ, they were trying to make it runnable with software rendering. There was originally a bit of complaining when they decided it would simply -require- a graphics card. Not every computer had them. In 2015 you could probably run an emulator of an emulator of an emulator of EQ and it would still be playable!
