Vanishing Players -MiniLogin & Hamachi

Has anyone run into an issue with Mini-Login and Hamachi where once someone signs on to EQEMU appears in game and then is visible for say 5 to 10 seconds and then vanishes from the view of everyone else? It is also impossible for these people to join groups effectively. They are however able to see mobs, and do everything else. I'm assuming this is some sort of lag issue. Anyone have any thoughts?
