6.1dr1 Problem at Char Select

I have 6.1dr1 loaded up. All seems to be completely fine. I can connect to the server and see my characters and I can also make new characters. But I can not actually go beyond that. If I try to enter world the client freezes for a bit then it says that the server is not responding. And my Zones do not so any activity on the server. Suggestions?

It's a possibility that your boot5zones.bat could be wrong. You might check that. Should be a forum topic about setting it up somewhere around here.

Are your zones connecting to your world?

Zones were connecting fine. I found the problem it was just a bad compile I guess. I was using the one from the steelphsyco boards... switch to the build linked in the tutorial and all worked perfectly.

Though if anyone knows how to convert characters over from 6.0 to 6.1 i'd love to know how. I tried just copying the chars over, but it issues a boot due to a "hideme" error
