Was thinking, is there a way to remove the race class restrictions.. eg. Gnome monk ect ect, if there is a way how? if there isnt a way could there be?

Run the querry:

UPDATE items SET classes = 65535;
UPDATE items SET races = 65535;

Just be aware this means that gnomes can wear things like large platemail and Ogres can wear small cloth robes

Pretty sure he meant for character selection, and no, theres no way because the client has it hard coded. (Although you can change your base race through gm commands).
