Default Server Hardware Questions

I have a server that's being cycled out and I thought it would be fun to rebuild it as a EQEMU server. So I have a few questions.

Server is Xeon 1.8GHz and 32GB RAM.

Would adding a second CPU or RAM help performance?

Probably will be fine for anything but upper-mid to high-end traffic.

Bandwidth usually kills before server resources.

I'd recommend SSDs if you're not using them already.

The server, as a whole, has gotten more efficient over the years - and is still getting better.

SIDENOTE:

It looks like we're going to be deprecating x86 support in the near future.

So, make sure that's not a consideration.
