Default Hosting EQ Server without Client?

Since OS X doesn't seem to be possible, I thought I'd ask. Would it be possible to run an Everquest Server on a Windows machine without having the client?

(If this has already been answered, sorry. I searched the forums and did not find anything that directly answered this question.)

Im almost positive this is possible. The emulator isnt actually using the client to run, jsut databases and stuff. So i dont think you need the actual client installed.

All you need for the server is the spell files from your EQ dir.
