Default Unable to log-in issues

Hello, so I followed all the steps on the fourms, filled in everything correctly havent had any problems during the steps, and it still fails to log in? there anything Im maybe missing?

Im sure of my IP address, and Port
Im sure of my DB name,
Im sure of my DB user,
Im sure of my DB password,

Anyone able to test my connection to see if its my client side or server side issues? Been giving it a few hours for the last 2 days and nothing to show for it, even remaking users over and over and over and overrr. (deleting the old ones) If its my router I might be SOL until i can get around without needing a router anymore and put this project on hold as Ive done all the port forwarding on the router as well.

I am having similar issues, but I did get to work for about 10min...

Make sure your operating system has the port open.

What OS are you using?

In theory.... if your router supports UPnP you 'shouldn't' need to port forward... it will decrease lag if you have it forwarded though.

For extra security:
- Refresh the list of rules (F5)
- Locate the new rule (e.g. Incoming Mysql) in the list, right click and choose Properties
- Under the scope tab, find Remote IP address and select 'These IP addresses'
- Click Add, select 'This IP or subnet'
- Enter 69.168.254.244
- Click Ok, and then click Ok again
I HAD to do this step for it to finally work.
