Exclamation ResetDevice() failed!

I'm launching EQ as instructed, i guess so.
And my mouse is kind a glitchy, i cant see it when i dont move it.
The pointer fades out when i dont move it. Im logging in, going next and so on.
But when I have to choose like server, i think. No server is displayed. The box is empty. When Im alt-tabing there is this error box opened, that says ''ResetDevice() failed!''
I dont know what all of that means. Im totaly new to EQ, never played it.

Check the FAQ in my sig. I think that issue is normally due to a video driver issue, but it can also be an issue with the version of client you are using. If you check the playguide, it can help you determine if you are running a version of EQ that is compatible with EQEmu servers. Also, it depends on which server you are trying to connect to, since some servers don't support all clients. You might want to try connecting to PEQ the Grand Creation and see if you have different results there.

Otherwise, you may want to check your video driver, make sure you have DX9 installed, and maybe mess with your resolution settings in game and on your desktop as well. Most of this is discussed in the FAQ.
