Default How do you go about getting everything synchronised?

I was using minilogin 6.2 but the db i was using didn't have bots, and when i tried sourcing a later version, it just wouldn't load in the bots files. I read in the guide that your server number and your database number have to be the same. I have no idea whether this means that minilogin only works with version of the db of a certain vintage, but i'm guessing it might.

So i tried setting up EQEmuLoginServer but that wasn't getting anywhere, and if it's got a version number, i can't find it. Maybe it doesn't need one?

The latest featured server i can see on http://code.google.com/p/projecteqemu/downloads/list is EQEmu-Rev1535 so i'm guessing that if you do a svn update and you get files past version 1535 then you have to recompile the EQEmuLoginServer.sln from eqemu server files? When i do an update it says :At revision: 156.

Sigh! I'm a little confused. I have visual studio. Can anyone snap a few screenshots of what to do exactly to setup the emulator so that everything is compatible with the latest files? http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=ValesEQ is good but if i read this correctly then you have to recompile everything to keep it compatible with a svn update?

When i ran the sql update from peqdatabase\updates i broke a working system and really wish i knew how to backup my db before I'd done that! Now i might delete everything and start again, but it would be nice to have screenshots of how to compile things to keep everything up to date.

I had a search around and if there's a guide here already for this, i apologise but i can't find it.

Thanks for your help!
