Default First Server

Hi Everyone,

So I finally have a desktop with decent specs to run a small private server. I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 and was able to download all of the necessary packages (to my knowledge).

I have been trying my luck with the guide on the github repository here: https://github.com/EQEmu/Server/wiki/Linux-server-setup

I've attempted to create the eqemu server four times now from scratch but seem to be getting errors at various steps. I gave up on the LoginServer as I was receiving some compile errors on that as well as the azone application.

Before I post too much data that is unnessary I was wondering if there are any complete and up to date guides on rolling out a new server?

If not, what would be helpful information to post to assist in troubleshooting?

Thank you for your time!

**Update**

Well I'm not sure what went right this time compared to all the other times.

I did end up using a startup script to make sure I started everything in the correct order.

If the wiki included the information for a start up script that would be useful.
