Yes. EQ works fine in WINE (and various wrappers for OSX)

Default Really?

Wow, that's awesome. I'm not very computer smart. Would you have any links to show me how I would be able to do this?

I just did this myself by using a modified version of this walk-through:
https://www.reddit.com/r/everquest/c...acosx_on_wine/

Note: Add the DirectX installer and create a Windows shortcut to the eqgame.exe in your EQ Client folder. Path will look something like: Path: "C:\everquest\eqgame.exe patchme", Runs in: "C:\everquest"

I did step 1 and 2 and then proceeded to copy my EQ directory to "/Users/<profile>/.wine/drive_c" from a Terminal window. It's a hidden folder so in terminal just enter "open /Users/<profile>/.wine/drive_c" and a Finder window will open to what is the "C: drive". Copy your EQ client folder here. Once this is done, in that Terminal window, run "winefile". Click on the C:\ and you should see your EQ client directory. Navigate to the DirectX installer and run it. Once done, execute your EQ Shortcut.lnk and your client should run.

Hope this helps!
