Default eqnews.txt

Hello all,

Nice to see that the community is still alive and eqemu's versions still increasing !
Could someone with a 6.5 compatible client could tell me what's the date at the top of the eqnews.txt file please, right after 'Live Update - '

CRC32 of everquest.exe would help too

Thanks

Hello muus
Welcome back

I have many working eqemu with 0.6.5 but none with right eqnews.txt sorry.
And i don't know how to make a crc32 of everquest.exe.
But you can find help for version with cisyouk evercheck in utils section.

"Bon retour ici, ca bouge, lentement mais surement. Fais moi une petite visite ."

For reference, EQVerCheck uses CRC32 for its calculations. See the wiki for which part of the long version string represents the CRC32 calc of eqgame.exe

Hello guys,

Many thanks for your answers. That version checker of yours is awesome, Cisyouc
I had something like 10 or 12 clients on several computers, most of them tinkered, hard to figure which one could be the right one
