The Sleeper Open beta is still in action and we encourage anyone interested in finding bugs to assist in doing so. This server currently has over 300+ hours invested and is beginning to post the scripts to help you make your own classic-era server. If you're well versed at C++ or SQL feel free to submit changes to the currently posted scripts or contribute to other posted bugs in the Technical Discussions.

Hmm. So I signed up to see what things were all about, then I saw this post:

Ready to connect your EQ server to the outside world? We're here to help. Sign up and send a PM to Kegz including the following information to have your server listed. These can all be found in your eqemu_config.xml file in your server directory: Server Name (Long): Server Name (Short): Server IP Address: In the eqemu_config.xml file make your Account name your EpicEmu forum username from which you are sending the PM. You will receive a randomly generated password in a response PM in order to connect your server and it will need to be added to the eqemu_config.xml file as well.

For those interested in running their own server, EpicEmu has its own login server and this information is required to open it up to public traffic.
