Default Having issues getting zones to load.

Been searching around, and I have come across a few posts with people having similar issues, but none of them posting what the did to fix the issue.

I am able to see my server in the login list. I can login and create a char, but get zone unavailable when I try to zone into the server.

Here is my log when I execute the start.bat.

looks like you're missing a schema change. check the "changelog" file to see if there are any "sql" code fragments that you need to execute against your database to add the missing column.

Hmmm ok now im a bit confused. The guide only references sourcing the load_player.sql, and load_system.sql, but wincvs downloaded a bunch of .sql files. Do I need to source all of them?

load_player.sql and load_system.sql just source all the other sql files. Last time I downloaded the db from cvs it wasn't up to date with the latest eqemu version. Find the newest .sql file in the bunch and run every sql command in the changelogs from that day on.

That is Correct thats all you need to source, Those two .sql files call all the other *.sql to source.

What sfisque Was referring to is check the change log for any changes to the database Like this
Code:
Required SQL:
alter table zone add column graveyard_id float NOT NULL default '0' after safe_z;

DROP TABLE IF EXISTS `graveyard`;
CREATE TABLE `graveyard` (
  `id` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment,
  `zone_id` int(4) NOT NULL default '0',
  `x` float NOT NULL default '0',
  `y` float NOT NULL default '0',
  `z` float NOT NULL default '0',
  `heading` float NOT NULL default '0',
  PRIMARY KEY  (`id`),
  UNIQUE KEY `zone_id` (`zone_id`)
) ENGINE=InnoDB DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1;

insert into rule_values values(0, 'Zone:GraveyardTimeMS', 1200000);

Ok I went back and added all the code from the change log. I still seem to be getting the same error, and the dynamic zones dont want to come up.

I also noticed that im not getting a response from the login server with an external address. I wonder if this maybe part of the problem.

Will do it, or you can use the newest version of PEQ. Both the release and CVS have that column.
Looking at the PEQ CVS, this was added in revision 1.4, which is dated Wed Sep 19 13:49:55 2007 UTC (4 months, 1 week ago). It sounds like the root of the issue stems from how the DB was sourced, or possibly which DB was sourced.

I think that did it. The zones are coming up now. Ill have to wait to try logging in when I get home.

Thanks everyone for all the help!
