so far only tried it with the ingredients for the bracer

materials as listed
1x Brick of Crude Iron Ore ID19630
1x Young Puma Skin ID9906
1x Snake egg ID13088

it gives me the You cannot combine these items in this container type message.

Container being "Gem Encrusted Mail Kit"

I deleted the mail kit, and got a fresh one from the quest giver(Salinsa Delfdosan) in north Freeport just in the courtyard of the cleric guild.

I will try with more recipes as I get the items.
