Default Raid requirements

Hey all,
I'm new to all this EQ emulation. I've setup my own server, offline so I can play at my leisure.. obviously I set it up to be soloable. I've searched this forum high and low for days, before posting this, to see if I could find a way to do this, but I can't. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. I want to know if there is a way to get into raid instances, without being in an actual raid. I was trying to do the final battle for GoD progression mission #1 and it stated I needed to be in a raid. I have created 18 bots of different classes to be my "raid force". Can't invite them to a raid. Is there anyway form of a bypass for this sort of thing? Thanks in advance and take care.

CB

Find npc.pl file and edit it.

Thanks for the replay... However, I didn't see the npc.pl file, but i did see the npc_tools.pl. Would that be the same thing? And what specifically do i have to change in said file?

Caryatis, while quite knowledgeable, lacks the ability to accurately and effectively portray information. What he was saying is there is a quest file that governs that NPC you are talking to. The file name is NPC.pl where NPC is the name of the NPC, not actually "NPC.pl."

You will need to edit this quest file to change the requirements for entry into the zone, or just make a new quest altogether that just teleports you to the zone without requirement. There is a lot of information available here for quest writing including a ton of examples for teleport bots and translocators.

Those quest scripts do much more than teleport you into the zone. But assuming that you actually are doing all the progression correctly, and just want to remove the raid requirement, it will mean a rewrite of a few PoP era scripts, and almost all of the GoD era ones.
