Default what IS OpenEQ?
Hi, I am sorry for being a noob, but I really can't find an answer to the question, "what, exactly, IS OpenEQ?" anywhere (I've tried searching). Can you guys please shortly explain it to me, and considering I'm probably not the only one who's wondering this, perhaps make a sticky post about it?

There _was_ a sticky here, before the forums were switched over. OpenEQ is an opensource EverQuest client replacement.

So the goal is to get rid of the need to update to Live after a fresh install and give full controls to EQEmu/server developers?

I've seen some screenshots, but how far along are you to getting a playable version?
