Other computer timeouts

I finally after 2 weeks figured out what I was doing wrong getting my server public. I had no Idea I had to put my world server Name and password into the xml or whatever it was. Anyways now that I am up and running, world name is "Anzot" I tried to get into it with my sons laptop. What it does is it timeouts before it can show the list of public servers. Does anyone know why its doing that? I installed nothing but Everquest Titanium and made the shortcut with the "patchme. eqtext is set to eqemulator.net. I chect the router and it seems to be going ok. Does the laptop need further things done? I dont care if he can go to other servers. Just want him to get that big list after login lol!

I will give it a try. His laptop is running XP but I dont think its been updated with directX in a long time since its mainly been an facebook and e-mail machine
