if you are following the steps to create a fresh db and still getting errors, my guess is that you don't have a clean download from the database svn. delete that and get a clean download. maybe one of the bot sql files in the player_tables folder is corrupted from a previous download.

More than likely that is the problem. Everything else works except that.. oh well.

Also, check your MySQL settings. This guide has details for the options you should choose in the detailed setup wizard.
