Lightbulb There HAS to be a way

My train of thought (very possibly flawed):
In the very first release of EQ you could see yourself in the inventory.

This was also seen in the tutorial.

The tutorial is a standalone application.

What says you can't find the files in the tutorial.exe to generate this inventory view client-side?

These are the files in the tutorial:
bmpwad.s3d
bmpwad2.s3d
dbg.txt
gequip.s3d
global_chr.s3d
mss32.dll
mssa3d.m3d
mssds3dh.m3d
mssds3ds.m3d
msseax.m3d
mssrsx.m3d
sky.s3d
snd3.pfs
snd4.pfs
snd5.pfs
snd6.pfs
snd12.pfs
Soandso.opt
spdat.eff
spells.eff
stdat.eff
tutorial.dat
tutorial.exe
tutorial.s3d
tutorial_obj.s3d
tutorial_sndbnk.eff
tutorial_sounds.eff

Any thoughts on my thoughts?!!

Bit lost on this point- do you mean you could see your toon in the inventory ("ragdoll"), like where you normally have the class symbol animation?

If that's the case it isn't as simple as copying a file over, you'd need to inject a mass of code into an existing client, update the UI files etc. e.g. not easy!
