its your eqhost.txt file

should look like this:

[LoginServer]
Host=newlogin1.eqemulator.net:5994

make sure there are no spaces after [LoginServer] or elsewhere ... cause if you copy and paste straight from the forum it'll put a space after loginserver...and set the file as read only by right clicking on it, choosing properties and clicking read only

This may seem like a small thing, but it worked for me and my server is now up and running with the client pached to live and running 5.9 dr2

if you are using a shortcut to launch the eq client make sure the "Start in" feild is filled in correctly. For example my shortcut these configurations

Target : C:\EQEMU\Client\eqgame.exe patchme
Start in : C:\EQEMU\Client

You will want to change these to match your own path, but this solved my errors.

Hope this helps

Cheers
Tut
