Default Login Server

The Login server has been updated to work with the newest version of the client. Be sure to test the chat server also. Because of version issues, you cannot use both clients on the same login server, so if you patched to live and wish to play/help on one of the 0.5.0DR1 servers, you must change your login server to the following:

eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5997

note that the address did not change but the port did

USE THIS PORT ONLY IF YOU ARE USING THE NEWEST EQLIVE CLIENT!!!!!!!!!

i have change the port and ip in the Loginserver.ini,
but i get incorrect version:
Code:
TCP listening on: mutombo.dyndns.org:9000
World server listening on: mutombo.dyndns.org:9000
Connected to LoginServer: eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5997
Login server responded with FatalError. Disabling reconnect.
Error message: 'Incorrect version'
is there something else to change on the server ?

}
[Login Servers]

"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5997"

"eqlogin2.eqemu.net:5997"

no it should be:

[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5997"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5997"
}

Dont use eqlogin2. And if you arent patched to live dont even bother using this server it wont work for you.

Today is July 22. We don't know at this time what the future will hold. Did you mean the July 11 patch?

What does this mean specifically?

That minilogin won't work with .5.0?

-or-

That minilogin won't work with .5.0 and there won't be an updated minilogin to work with .5.0?

I ask because amidst a million other reasons why minilogin is useful, I'd like to be able to work offline yet let some folks on to help build up the world without a bunch of peeps coming on prematurely from the public login server.

Minilogin was handling this just fine. So what, is minilogin now toast?

It doesn't work for me.

I had changed the eqhost file and the datarate to 10.0 but this dont run.
I'm using the EQW 2.32 and not downloaded the LDON (LostDungeonsOfNorrath) files (now avaible).

Are this files necessaries to run the new eqemu with 0.5.0 version?
