I underestimated the number of files altered by booting client to server select to get boot log (6 additional files and 1 modified), my naked F2P (untouched) was same as yours and a couple other people I talked to.

I just bought Rain of Fear from steam, there is no downloadable file, it uses your Everquest F2P download. (I moved my f2p folder before trying to see if it would install but it says its missing).

I'm very excited for this new client to be available on eqemu.

I've recently started playing again on live to check out features, such as clicking on items within a bag, and the aggro meter!

I know devs got enough on their plate, but hopefully those type of new features would come in time.

I have my copy of F2P freshly downloaded and zipped up before being touched or patched, and backed up.

Here is a copy of the file/size etc of F2P fresh download just before using it.

They are still developing it to work, so for now either dig up the Titanium CDs or wait until it is completed.

it is not live like. it is live unless live has patched in the last few days.

and actually you can use it to get in game with a current SVN build (if you uncomment the calls to the conf). You can do next to nothing in game, but you can get in.

Xenerox as long as it says in the logfile Starting EverQuest (Built Dec 10 2012 17:35:44) you can use it F2P or Live , if you don't care what your conf file looks like but works i'll post what i have.

I have the current SVN build, and RoF uncommented. My create a character button is unhighlighted on new accounts, and account's with a char on it, hangs at the loading screen after clicking enter world.

Do I need to update my Variables -> Expansions: 16383?

I'm aware of the development's current state, and wish to just check out item textures and such.
