Just about to give up. Already tried tons of things people have suggested and even simplified it - still nothing. No errors on compiling, either. It's just the file size is different. NPCs won't resond what so ever, and now pets/familiars do not zone with the owners. They did just before I started messing with this stuff. I even reverted back to the release files, started a new and clean PEQ database, and nothing.

I seriously hope I didn't screw anything up. But even backing up the characters and restoring them shows this bug. I get these SumSword or SkelPet entries at the safe coords in the zone. D'oh!

I think I broke it, hehe.

hmm... I never noticed that r++ bug fix until today, and I checked it in. Also, I tried to update the zone vc.net project to only build perl binaries now, somebody try it tomorrow and let me know.

Just wanted to post an update. :p

Rebuilt it as a ZoneDebugPerl.exe and renamed it to Zone.exe, and everything works perfectly now. Been running a few days now with no issues what so ever.

I haven't had the chance to check out the latest CVS changes yet, since I see that a lot of stuff is coming and/or is being commented in. Not sure if I'll post it since it may be fixed in the next release with other additions, so I'll wait until the next build gets posted.
