Public Login Limits ?

I noticed after creating 3 public login server accounts, one has to wait a week for each one created after that.
No big deal, I was just curious as to the reason for it ?

It was changed awhile ago. My best guess is that so people cant easily make tons of accounts for spamming and what not. Its rather annoying when you box tons of characters and have to keep making new accounts. My main account is like 7 years old you would think the limit would be on newer accounts but its across all :(

The idea behind it is what shooteneq2 said. If you limit it to a maximum of 3 with a week interval between additional accounts you limit the ability of someone to spam create 1,000,000 accounts. There are script kiddies out there who would honestly do such a thing just to see if they could cause some mayhem.

TL;DR Safety precaution.
