Default New LAN-server : connecting with client problems

Hi!
I am totaly new to EverQuest (old enough to have played Ascherons Cal thou) and I have just recently started a small project to try and get a EverQuest server running, both from LAN and remote.

So first thing I did was to install a client following this wiki:
http://wiki.ezserver.online/Getting_Started

I tried it out and I could log into a remote server from the community
eqhost.txt
[LoginServer]
Host=login.eqemulator.net:5999

And from there I followed another "How to setup a Windows based EQ-server"
https://github.com/EQEmu/Server/wiki/Windows-Server

I made sure that the login.ini and eqemu_config.json file is updated with my local ip-adress of the computer running the EQ server.

Furthermore I made sure that the Clients eqhost.txt have the correct ip aswell.

So when I start my Client and log on - nor servers at all are showing.
I can se from the log on my server that my client did log on, it retrived the server list and disconnected when I did.

So my question is if I need to to anything else to setup my server?

Thank you in advance for answers and apologies in advance if this have been asked earlier

Tomas,
Lund, Sweden
