Default Spell Editor 0.4 released

Hey all,

Newest version of my spell editor is out. Here's a changelog:

- Support for Combat Abilities and Disciplines
- Support for the new Berserker class
- Lots of new IDs
- Better support for Bard songs (mainly Short Buff Box ('Songs' Box in EQ))
- Easier-to-use expert mode

Binary (~780kb):
http://camongrel.hbnet.de/files/emu_spell_binary.zip

Edit: I just realised I'm still using a component in this release that was for testing puporses only. It's not standard VCL, so you will likely not be able to compile this.
I will update the file in a few hours when I'm back home again.

Source (~660kb):

Of course, the Berserker isn't out yet, so you won't see any spells for that class.

The combat abilities and disciplines don't work yet on the server (as far as I know, at least). Most of the new IDs aren't working yet either, so all this makes this release kinda pointless, heh.
But it may help when it comes to testing.

I'm thinking about reworking the GUI a bit, so I'm open for suggestions.

Edit: See edit note above

Default Limb

I'm going out on a limb here, but the new disc's and the combat abilities are in the spells_us.txt file. prolly added code to understand the information for those spells (which arent really spells) but that's where they are :0

Yup, they're spells now. Nothing too special about them. Endurance upkeep, timer and probably a few more which I haven't found yet.

Default a problem

The editor looks very nice, but I keep getting this error when I try to load the spells (or edit them, or do just about anything):

Zugriffsverletzung bei Adresse 0049A728 in Modul 'EQEmuSpells.exe'. Schreiben von Adresse 0023037E.

and

the same thing, except the first address is 0040475A and the second is FFFFFFF9.

Any ideas? If you have a solution and you have AIM, send me a shout: eqserversupport. I appreciate it.

Hm, are you using the newest spells_us.txt and editor version 0.5? (a new one was released a few days ago)

Make sure your eqstr_us.txt is up to date in the EQ dir. Also make sure, that the EQ path is set up correctly in the preferences dialog. (maybe it's pointing to an older directory?)

They're both working. the spells file is up to date, the directories are perfect...hmm. I wonder if a hammer to the side of the monitor will fix it...

Can you send me a few files to mongrel@bluebis.de, please?

I need the following (zip em ):
EQEmuSpells.exe
EQEmuSpells.ini

spells_us.txt from your EQ dir
spells_us.txt from your EQ Emu dir (rename one of them)

eqstr_us.txt from your EQ dir

I'll look into it, then.
