Default Froggy: Make new with old.

An old zone view with some custom content :

I'm not a 3D artist, Just use basic function of openzone for make object like ground.
I make my Global_obj.s3d with my objects and use objects from kerraridge_obj.s3d
Many many many patience and Db table Doors modification.
Is not marvelous but custom everquest zone :p

Nice screenshots Belfedia, and glad to hear you succeded in using "global_obj".

This is a good example of customising a zone using EQ contents, and note that, like Belfidia said, there is no modeling skill required here, everyone is able to customise their zones.

Some new examples of custom zone.
I use only OpenZone for make my Global_Obj.S3D and many work with the table Doors.
I can use it for change many things in zone.

looks really nice, ive always thought about takeing a look at doing custom zones and stuff, but i first need to get better at peral and database related stuff, one step at a time, but that looks nice.

Each zone have more graphic files

Namedzone.s3d (the zone graphic)
Namedzone_chr.s3d (the char graphic in this zone)
Namedzone_obj.s3D (the object graphic for zone)

I use in DB
the table door (contain doors and tp stone but also placement of little object)
I can put more object from Namedzone_obj.s3d, like tree, barrel, door, torch, etc...

I can't add my object in Namedzone_obj.s3d
But with the help of great openzone software,
I make my global_obj.s3D files who work with all zone.
I put in additionnal object like wall, tente, flag, door, etc...
Objects are designed in OZ for many. A friend with 3D modeler help me
for some complex object like tente
