When you are asking for help you should give as many details screen shots and info you can about it...

I mean this could one of many problems:
EQhost
Incorrect patch verson
You didnt use the Key.
Incorrect username or password.
I could keep going and going i mean I need more details to solve this

Default I get the same problem

Hi! I get the same problem. I have a registered forum account and I tried to make a player account, but even though I copied and pasted the activation key from my profile and CORRECTLY typed in a name, my email, and a password, I got this error:

EQEmulator Account Registration
Invalid Activation Key / E-mail
Account Created Have Fun - EQEmulator Dev Team

Then when I go back to 'Profile', it still says I haven't created an account.

I hope you can help. Thanks.

Adrian

Oh, I would include a screenshot, but I can't figure out how to paste the image into the post, and really, that's all it says anyway.

OK, that was stupid. I was being lazy and trying to use the same password for my player account as for my forum account (not wanting to remember two passwords and all) so when I tried a different password, it worked and I now have a player account. Alrighty, I'll try to avoid any more dumb mistakes in the future.

Later!

PS to the Admins: Do you suppose (if you have time and whatnot) that you could edit the error info to tell people that it's their password that's bad and not their email/activation code? Just a thought... Thanks for all the hard work and amazing results! This game just wouldn't be as good without you!
