cant get eqhost.txt to work

Hey all im having a hard time getting this to work. (Im running vista) whenever i try to put

[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998

into my eqhost.txt file and save it, it says that it cannot create <enterfile path and name here> and to make sure that path and file name are correct. Does anyone know what to do?

Your EverQuest directory is probably in C:\Program Files.

Vista locks you out of these files by default as a security measure.

In order to be able to temporarily edit eqhost.txt file, do the following:

1. Click the Start/Windows button
2. Click "All Programs"
3. Click "Accessories"
4. Right-click "Notepad"
5. Choose "Run as administrator"
6. Click "Continue" in the UAC window
7. Browse to and open the eqhost.txt file and make your changes.
