Question Confusion regarding expansion settings

I'm tinkering with expansion settings and could use a bit of clarifications.

What's the difference between Expansion:CurrentExpansion and World:ExpansionSettings?

What is the range of effects that these settings have? I understand that changing the expansion setting won't make the server play as it was during that period on Live (which requires extensive customization such as on p99), but what elements ARE changed with these settings?

Any help appreciated - sorry if this has been explained elsewhere and I couldn't find it.

The one with the World prefix handles client-side features such as xtarget window and other stuff like that.

The Expansion prefix is for PEQ expansions which you can read about here.
