Default EQEMU Server Resources

Anyone have an idea what resources would be needed for around a 50 user EQEMU (processors, RAM, Disk I/O, disk space)?

Maybe even an idea if the login server was a separate server/database than the main EQEMU, what the login server load would be?

I run 6 GB of RAM, disk space, maybe 2-3 gigabytes depending upon how long you let your logs pile up. I'm on a dual core currently. It's not as taxing as you may think, to be honest.

Thanks King!

I am wondering, would you recommend breaking up the login server and/or the other processes like the database, chat server into separate machines?

Personally, I don't do that, but if you're planning to have thousands of players, maybe. But at 50, no, definitely not.

Akkadius's catchprase should be:

"There's a wiki for that."

Lol, well that's the point of it. It has a wealth of information, that is what it is there for.
