Default getting the latest content

are there any tutorials anyone may know of that would assist in retrieving the opcodes to update a server's ability to accept the latest current everquest opcodes? i realize distributing clients is completely forbidden and this is not my intent.

There are programs like wireshark that can do packet sniffing, i also see other projects out there such as showeq and mq2, they might be a resource for some of this stuff.

It's not just about opcodes...

Packet structure and system behavior also change.

As old as the 'current steam' is now, it's incompatible enough with our current server code to not use it.
