Default Windows mode, unmovable window, off screen.

When I set the game to windows mode the window is halfway on my minotor, and halfway in the void yet I cannot see the top of the window it self and therefore cannot drag the window out. :( any suggestions?

ALT+O to open your options window, then just change your resolution in game.

Alternatively, you could use Alt+Spacebar, the Windows keyboard shortcut for opening the title bar right-click menu.

Also, right-clicking the taskbar will give you the option to "Cascade windows", which should allow you to fix things as you like.

Thank you so much for your replies. Unfortunatly changing the in game resolution does little to effect my window placement, and for some reason when I alt spacebar and select move, I still can't drag the window, and cascade windows doesn't seem to do anything for me :(

After using Alt+Spacebar and choosing Move, use your keyboard arrow keys to move the window down.

Yeah, I thought maybe you were still trying to use the mouse.
