Default can't modify a txt file

Hey yall I downloaded and installed everything. I am now setting up and I am at this step.

EverQuest Titanium Private Server Setup: How To
1.) Go to Run Type in "%HOMEDRIVE%Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqhost.txt"
Without the Quotes

2.) Now Modify the file to look like.

[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998

Goto File, Save and close the File now.

The problem is I can't save it. Access denied. Wat do?

TL;DR
Can't save a txt file.

go back and reinstall everything not in the Program Files folder. C:\eq\EverQuest works well.

you can just usually copy the file to your document folder and make the changes there. then paste it back to where you copy your file from. I just have all of my eq folders in my document folder and I don't have a problem with editing files from there.
