Default Server just started to run at high speed

Hi All, I wonder if anyone can guide me to the right direction to solving an issue i just had. I am quite new to understanding how it all works, but managed to build a private server(lan) all worked well for about a week lvling etc.

Today i loaded the game and it seems to be on warp speed.

Char select the chars are all twitchy and glitching cant click enter world can only enter by pressing enter.

But when in game its the same everything is running very fast, cant click on pok books or inv items.

Can anyone point me in right direction to what is the cause of this issue?

Most appreciated.

Dark.

This is kind of an old issue, But basically the game can't handle the speed of certain processors. If you overclocked your cpu or your computer is overclocking it on its own, than that would cause the problem. If you set your cpu multiplier to a lower number it should be fine after that. My old PC would cause me problems if I overclocked it past 4.0 ghz. Because I had to increase the multiplier to 18x. Im referring to the pc with the client on it btw.
