Default eqemulator.net won't ping, is my IP blocked?

Hi, I am posting here through a free web proxy because I cannot connect to eqemulator.net.

My problem began today, I was in-game when I got a BSOD (I really need to clean my machine, don't worry about that). When I booted up again I could not get logged in. I reinstalled eqemu and still couldn't. Tried the website and it fails. Other websites and anything else internet works.

Flushed dns, released, renewed, reregistered. Rebooted modem. Checked proxy settings. Did a malware scan for the hell of it.

When I ping eqemulator.net, it times out. I tried it on my laptop (same network) and it also fails. I tried IE, firefox, and chrome and it fails on all 3. I tried pinging from my modem and it also fails. I have no additional router, just a modem. I called AT&T and pasted my tracert to the guy and he told me that it looks like my IP address may be blocked on eqemu's end. My IP address is 108.227.220.245. Is it blocked? Is there something else I should try?

Sites commonly block ICMP traffic (ping is one example), so I wouldn't
take it personally.

sorry, i'm a bit ignorant when it comes to modem settings and need a little more hand-holding. I have a Motorola NVG510. Do I use NAT/gaming or Packet filters? i'm trying to find a guide to port forwarding on this modem but it seems like there's very little information out there.

Do not listen to noport.

Clean your pc up, and see what happens then.

Also, you said you're behind a proxy. Maybe your provider blocked Eqemu. I know my work sure did.

i wasn't clear before. my proxy settings are clear, I simply used hidemyass.com to access this website (it's a free in-browser proxy). i did this because i cannot access eqemulator.net at all otherwise. i do not have any proxy set up. i've run several malware scans and cleared temp files, history, temporary internet files, ran ccleaner, everything i can think of. ONLY eqemulator.net is broken, no other websites or domains.

Post the Tracert to eqemulator.net

Also try pinging 67.23.190.75, let me know if that works or not.

ping on 67.23.190.75 fails. tracert follows. (from my computer)

I'm not sure how to answer this question. I have a limited understanding of networking. The hostname from this site reads 108-227-220-245.lightspeed.hstntx.sbcglobal.net. Is that what you meant?

I wasn't trying to be a dick, I was meaning for you to literally browse to:

www.whatsmyip.org to get your public address assigned to your router through your ISP, the website will tell you what IP address you are browsing from, helps get a little bit more of an idea if there is anything on Rogeans end as far as administration.

My computer is doing the exact same thing. It was working this morning before I went to bed but now, nothing. I can't connect in game server or to the website. I have no idea why and I'm browsing this on my phones 3g just so I can post

My IP is 99.103.167.50 just to double check that for some reason you guys are blocking my IP. Hope it wouldn't get blocked for no reason without warning. I was litterally playing this morning and now I can't sign in to the server list or to the website.
