I put this thing together because everybody bitches about the lack of documentation, and some people even contribue every once in a while, but inevitably it gets out of date.

Where is the wiki
It is the documentation link on the main page, does anybody click that stupid thing?

WTF is a wiki
The wiki is a USER EDITABLE documentation system to allow the community to build and contribute to documentation. If you see an error in the document, change it, make it better, etc.

If you have specific questions, they go on the forums, and once they are resolved, they can go on the wiki.

see here for more info, not specific to our wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki

How the hell do I use this thing?
Every page has an edit button on the bottom if you want to edit an existing page.

there is a link on each edit page to syntax information.

The best way to create a new page is to change the URL in your browser to point to a new page name, and press the create button on the resulting page. Otherwise you can link to it from another page and click the link.

What goes on the wiki
Any information about eqemu which other people might benefit from reading later.

Keep in mind that information is only useful if people can find it, so make sure you can easily reach your page from the main page. This means putting your page in the right category, and also adding a link to it manually from the appropriate main category with descriptive text. See the packet collecting category for an examploe.
